About Jules Verne
Jules Verne was a French novelist, poet and playwright who was born on 8 February 1828. He was supposed to become a lawyer like his father, but he quickly abandoned this idea to become a writer. He was extremely passionate about travel and the technological advances of his time. He is known as the “Father of Science Fiction” and is one of the most translated authors in the world. He died in 1905.
