About Murder on the Orient Express
Murder on the Orient Express is one of Agatha Christie’s best-known novels. In it, the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot is travelling on the Orient Express when one of the passengers, who had previously expressed concerns about his safety, is found dead. Knowing that the culprit must still be on board the train, Poirot begins an investigation that will test not only his wits, as each piece of new evidence seems to contradict the last, but also his sense of justice and morality…
The novel remains popular and has inspired numerous adaptations, most recently as a feature film directed by and starring Kenneth Branagh in 2017.
